Getting your sweat on at the gym reduces your level of stress, which combats excess cortisol production—the stress hormone that breaks down collagen in your skin.
When you work out regularly, it improves the thickness of your skin, which basically means fine lines and wrinkles will be less noticeable.
And lastly, it gives you a boost of energy! As your levels of endorphins (the happy hormone) increases, the more vibrant, energetic and alert you'll be.
UNCLOG YOUR PORES
When you get your heart rate up, it increases circulation and blood flow in your body, delivering a greater amount of oxygen and nutrients to your skin cells. It expels trapped dirt and oil from your pores then flushes the bad stuff out of your system.
GET LUSCIOUS LOCKS
The same increase in circulation and blood flow that unclogs your pores also stimulates your hair follicles resulting in stronger, healthier, shinier, luscious locks.
So, all in all, you'll notice a difference in you skin, hair and mood. I hit the gym at least 2-3 times a week and do what I can for at least 30-45 minutes. Choose a workout that you love and make it a part of your weekly routine!
