One of the most amazing things you can do for your health is incorporate apple cider vinegar, or ACV, into your everyday routine.
It’s a powerful natural remedy that I’ve been hooked on for years.
ACV is antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal powerhouse.
It combats aging free radicals, cleanses your body, improves digestion, regulates your blood sugar and helps replenish minerals.
It’s an easy, effective way to help your skin maintain a healthier, younger appearance.
I start the day off with 1-2 tablespoons of ACV (or fresh lemon juice) in filtered warm water to get my morning boost and even sip on it throughout the day in between meals—just make sure you dilute it to protect the enamel of your teeth.
Adding apple cider vinegar to recipes like salad dressings and sauces is also a delicious and healthy way to incorporate it into your everyday.
When buying ACV, make sure to choose a brand that is organic, raw, unfiltered and unpasteurized. You’ll see the “mother” floating around, which is a good thing. That means all the beneficial enzymes, pectin and trace minerals are intact.
I buy Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, it's my go-to.
Shake the bottle each time before using to enjoy all the amazing beauty benefits.
ADDITIONAL BEAUTY BENEFITS:
Brighter Skin - drink 1-2 tablespoons every morning with warm water for brighter, clearer skin. It also helps regulate the pH of your body, keeping your body alkalized.
Skin Blemish Banisher - mix 1 part ACV to 2 parts water and use it as a skin toner to treat acne, oily skin and age spots. The acid in ACV will naturally exfoliate and reveal a new layer of skin.
Healthier, Shinier Locks - rinse your hair with 1/2 tablespoon ACV in one cup of water for softer, stronger, shinier hair. It removes build-up of haircare products and helps balance the pH level of your hair. Rinse your hair thoroughly to get rid of the smell.
Natural Teeth Whitener - rinse with 1 part ACV to 2 parts water for about a minute to allow the antibacterial and disinfecting properties of ACV do its magic on your teeth.
This is a great mask to help soothe and hydrate your skin—especially if your face is feeling a bit puffy.
The apple cider vinegar rids your skin of impurities, the cooked oats soothes and the olive oil hydrates and locks in moisture—these ingredients together exfoliate gently to provide a light detox for your face.
The best part of this mask is that it incorporates items you most likely have in your pantry.
I use this DIY mask once a week, as part of my beauty routine. It leaves my skin smooth, soft and glowing!
Enjoy! If you give it a try, let me know!
