I LOVE this sandwich. It's savory, creamy, flavorful, satiating and simple.

It hits the spot every single time.

The smashed chickpeas with tahini, mustard, dill, maple syrup (for a bit of sweetness) and spices create amazing layers of textures and flavors.

Pile it on top of your favorite bread and favorite toppings for a super satisfying meal.

Chickpea salad is one of my favorites to make on meal prep day for effortless weekday lunches, salads and wraps.

Chickpeas contain more iron and vitamin C than any legume. Choose sprouted versions or sprout them yourself to neutralize phytic acid (which interferes with the absorption of zinc, magnesium, calcium and iron). It will activate the enzymes needed for healthy digestion and make more minerals available for your body to absorb and assimilate.
