TUMERIC TAHINI DRESSING

 

This dressing is AMAZING, I love it so much. It's nutty, super creamy, and pairs well with virtually all veggies, macro/grain bowls and hearty kale salads. Its vibrant color brightens up any meal.

Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties that's amazing for skin health. It improves your body's ability to fight-free radicals, helps to create a stronger UV shield for your skin and helps stimulate your cells to function better, which is essential for glowing skin.

*Pro tip: add 3% black pepper to your turmeric to improve its bioavailability to enhance absorption. Smaller doses will then be more effective (i.e. 1/2 tsp ground black pepper to 1/4 cup turmeric).

UNHULLED TAHINI

Unhulled tahini is made from toasted sesame seeds which means the hulls are intact. It gives you the health benefits from the whole seed - all the vitamins, minerals, calcium, iron and fiber.

Because the seeds are unhulled and toasted, it has a lot less phytic acid (which blocks the absorption of important minerals and fibers needed for good digestion), so if you opt to buy tahini at the store, try to look for unhulled tahini made with toasted sesame seeds.
