This coffee body scrub is amazing. It not only tones your body like nobody's business, it leaves your skin incredibly soft and oh-so-smooth.
There are so many incredible benefits of exfoliating. Here are my favorites:
GETS RID OF DEAD SKIN
Exfoliating removes the dead skin cells that clog your pores and make your skin look dry and flaky. With a gentle scrub, you'll reveal that new and dewy skin hidden underneath.
**If you have dry skin and you feel like your moisturizer just sits on top of your skin after you apply, you're not exfoliating enough. Having a fresh layer of skin will help it absorb products much better and deeper, further combating dryness and irritation.
STIMULATES CELLULAR REGENERATION
Exfoliating encourages new cell renewal which leads to brighter, firmer, smoother skin. It also reduces skin discoloration, evens out your skin tone and improves circulation—giving you that natural glow.
Dry brushing along with exfoliating stimulates your lymphatic system, which helps remove toxins and trapped fat cells (cellulite) from your body. Definitely one of the best benefits.
WHY THIS BODY SCRUB IS SO INCREDIBLE:
- Coffee—is an anti-inflammatory. Caffeine not only tightens and firms your skin, but improves skin circulation.
- Coconut Oil—my favorite natural beauty ingredient to help lock in moisture—it has tons of nourishing vitamins and minerals.
- Coconut Palm Sugar—helps exfoliate, along with the coffee grounds (note: if you're in need of a deeper exfoliation, organic cane sugar might work better because it's coarser in texture and might work better).
- Cinnamon—anti-inflammatory that brings blood and nutrients to the surface of your skin which helps give you that glow. If you have sensitive skin, leave this out.
This is one of my go-to's especially in the winter. If you give it add it to your self-care ritual, I'd love to know!
